Unspoken Rules Everyone Should Know

on August 17, 2013

There are those moments when we simply shake our heads, roll our eyes or sometimes even scream! What is it these days with common sense or should I say without common sense? Has it been thrown out with the baby’s bath water, flushed down the toilet or scattered in the wind? Just simple courtesies that everyone should know seem unheard of, unspoken, out of sight, out of mind!

See if you have encountered any of the ‘unspoken rules everyone should know‘ presented in the slideshow below or perhaps leave a comment of one of your own.

I find that the higher the intelligence the lower the common sense. 🙂

Commonsense isn’t all that common, or at least I have not found it so. It ought to be. It just isn’t.

  3. I feel its dedication, hardwork, intelligence other than common sense:)

A few years ago I traveled to 5 national parks in the pacific southwest. These parks provided shuttle buses with seats clearly marked for senior citizens. Rude kids and teens filled these seats even though there were plenty of others open. I really wanted to strangle each & every one, including their parents.

I love these rules but not everything is always done. If everyone would observe these rules it would be the start to a better world already. Throw in a smile and hey we go!
It needs to be more often advertised as common sense is not always there!

It is sad that there seems to be so little common sense–we live in a me-me society. However did we get here?

  7. The best one for me, or should I say the commonsense, I need to learn– stop talking when someone gives one word answers. I know when I give one word answers, I’m not interested.

Uhm… you know… I’m sure you’re right… most of it is common sense. To me it’s a lot of common sense to use the manners once learned. But some people tend to forget… *sigh*
